Dr. Jack Seward
What's more modern than a psy- chologist? I cannot abide the repression inter- pretation of Dracula, in case that isn't clear yet. I would cast Jeremy Northam ("The Net," "Possession") as Jack Seward.

You have good taste. First you cast Adrian Brody, then Christian Bale, and now Mr. Knightly himself? Add Joaquin Pheonix (also known as my soul mate) somewhere in the mix and I would see the movie in a heartbeat.
I really do need to read Dracula. I’ll add it to my list, right after Til We Have Faces and It.
